Even though Morocco and Brazil are apart in distance, their history and cultural diversity bind them close beyond Africa's cultural and religious inheritance as well as Andaluz heritage. Released in 2017, “Gaia Música volume 2” was the first encounter between Morocco and Brazil. In the year of this year in Brussels, Maalem Rida Stitou drove me around his neighborhood, Molenbeek — where Moroccan community lives, playing the album in maximum volume in his car, greeting everyone and asking, “when we are going to live perform this album?”.
In December 2018, De Centrale music center by his producers Zohra and Cedric started a conversation to bring DJ Tudo e sua gente de todo lugar for a live performance at Gnawa Ghent Festival together with Gnawa de Bruxelles. Cultural Handelsbeurs is where the show took place. After that, by Benjamin Tollet influence and action, we also performed at Recyclart in Brussels.
Previous to Handelsbeurs performance, I asked the production to record the performance, which they did splendidly. On the plane back to Brazil, I was so happy to have the Handelsbeurs recording and also video shootings from my dear friends Karla Pessoa and Maron Deekers. As soon as I got home, I mixed the recordings and videos, so I could move further with this project. When I finally finished editing and played the entire work, I decided to release this material in a virtual album so everybody would know this project. So, this is it: a work with body and soul which gathers macumba, jazz, psychedelia and a beautiful cultural encounter.

Gaia Musica volume 2 - Ao vivo no Handelsbeurs (Português)
Embora Marrocos e Brasil estejam separados por uma grande distância, sua história e diversidade cultural os unem por terem em comum a herança Andaluz e a herança cultural e religiosa da África negra. Lançado em 2017, o “Gaia Música volume 2” promove o encontro entre Marrocos e Brasil, no final do mesmo ano, Maalem Rida Stitou do Gnawa de Bruxelles, me levou ao seu bairro, Molenbeek em Bruxelas - onde a comunidade marroquina vive, tocando o álbum em volume máximo em seu carro, cumprimentando a todos e me perguntou: “quando vamos apresentar esse álbum? ”.
Em dezembro de 2018, o centro musical De Centrale, por meio de seus produtores Zohra e Cedric, iniciou uma conversa para levar DJ Tudo e sua gente de todo lugar para se apresentar no Gnawa Ghent Festival, juntamente com o grupo Gnawa de Bruxelles. A sala de concertos Handelsbeurs foi onde o show aconteceu. Depois disso, por contato de Benjamin Tollet, também nos apresentamos no Recyclart em Bruxelas.
Na pré-produção do show, troquei email com o Handelsbeurs e perguntei se seria possível registrar o show. Eles disseram que sim e com os canais separados. No avião de volta ao Brasil, fiquei muito feliz ao ouvir a gravação de Handelsbeurs e ter as filmagens de vídeo feita pelos amigos queridos Karla Pessoa e Maron Deekers. Assim que cheguei em casa, mixei as gravações, no intuito de ter vídeos para seguir com este projeto. Quando finalmente terminei de mixar, decidi lançar esse material em um álbum virtual para que todos conhecessem esse projeto. Então é isso: um trabalho com corpo e alma que reúne macumba, jazz, psicodelia e um belo encontro cultural.
